Absheron-Sharab OJSC is a leading producer of alcoholic beverages in Azerbaijan, combining rich winemaking traditions with cutting-edge technology. Situated just 17 km from Baku, in the village of Mehdiabad, our facility features state-of-the-art production buildings, cellars, workshops, and warehouses for finished products.
Since 2007, we have been committed to innovation, continuously upgrading our production processes by integrating advanced European equipment, including oak barrels and fermentation and storage tanks. These investments have allowed us to enhance the quality of our products while perfectly blending time-honored techniques with modern innovations.
Today, Absheron-Sharab OJSC boasts a diverse portfolio of more than 70 products, ranging from wines, brandies, and vodkas to whiskies, liqueurs, sparkling wines, gin, Calvados, and fruit vodkas. Our wines are crafted from both renowned European grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, and Chardonnay, and unique indigenous Azerbaijani varieties, including Madrasa, Rkatsiteli, and Bayan Shira.
Quality is at the heart of everything we do. Our advanced laboratory, accredited to international standards, ensures rigorous quality control at every stage of production. This commitment is validated by the ISO 22000 certification, awarded by the renowned certification body DNV GL (Norway), confirming the safety and quality of our products according to international standards.
Our team of professionals continually refines their expertise through participation in international exhibitions and forums, sharing knowledge with industry leaders and adopting the latest technologies. With the support of the Made in Azerbaijan initiative, we have steadily increased our export capacity, and today our products are enjoyed in markets such as Russia, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Israel, China, and beyond.
At Absheron-Sharab OJSC, we take pride in our mission: to elevate Azerbaijani winemaking and produce high-quality alcoholic beverages that can compete on the global stage.
