Azerbaijani Wines Earn Four Silver Medals at Black Sea Forum 2017

MOSCOW, July 1, 2017 –OJSC "Absheron Sharab" achieved a remarkable victory at the prestigious Black Sea Wines 2017 contest, held as part of the IV Black Sea Winemaking Forum, securing four Silver Medals. This outstanding result underscores the superior quality and international competitiveness of our wines.

All awarded wines are from the 2014 vintage and belong to the still red wines category:

  • Absheron Sharab Madrasa 2014 

  • Sabiel Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 

  • Sabiel Merlot 2014 

  • Sabiel Syrah 2014 

The Black Sea Winemaking Forum, held under the patronage of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), is a premier industry event in the region. The 2017 competition featured 324 samples from 11 countries, judged by a panel of leading experts from 7 nations.
