About the Name

The brand name "İvanovka Bağları" translates from Azerbaijani as "Gardens of Ivanovka." This unique brand embodies the rich heritage and history of the famous Molokan village Ivanovka, located in the Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan, just a few hours' drive from the capital, Baku.

In 1954, Nikolai Vasilyevich Nikitin, the chairman of the collective farm, dedicated his efforts and passion to establishing the vineyard in Ivanovka. This event marked the beginning of viticulture development in the region. By the early 1980s, the Ivanovka vineyard had grown into one of Azerbaijan's leading wine-growing plantations, covering an area of ​​700 hectares.
